Some simple monoprints created from flowers and plants collected from a walk around the Island in St Ives on a perfect Spring morning. I tok the plants back to the print studio and used them as stencils on a sky blue plate. Some pieces I used more than once to create a more subtle image, I was particularly interested in picking up as much of the natural colouring from the plants as possible.
I added watercolour to some, I like the illustrative feel of these, like something you may find in a botanists diary

I was lucky enough to be invited by the owners of
to create some blue and white work for their gorgeous and luxurious new Guest House.
